Multiple imputation (MI) is increasingly being used to handlemissing data in epidemiologic research.When data on both the exposure and the outcomearemissing, an alternative to standardMI is the “multiple imputation, then deletion” (MID) method, which involves deleting imputed outcomes prior to analysis.
